Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum :-) 04/05/2012

Hello,

My name is Jason and i've just joined this site. A few weeks ago i bought my very first Mx5 and i absolutley love it. I have bought a 2007 model 1.8i in stormy blue with 23,000 miles on the clock. I have admired this car from afar for 20 years and just thought it was the most georgous car on the road. So, after 20 years of admiring and wishing, i finally traded my fiesta in for an Mx5 !! It's the first time that i have owned a sports car and i feel like i am driving something which is much more expensive and luxurious. I love having the top down, though haven't had many opportunities to do so with the rubbish weather of late. I recently had another Mx5 driver wave to me whilst driving through Derbyshire and it felt nice to be part of something special. Having read through different forums i decided to join one and here iam lol.

I look forward to hearing from you and reading your own stories about this wonderful car !!

Hi Jason,welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of MX5ing

Don't forget to wave to fellow 5ers

You will get some who don't wave back but they just need to be educated,

the more we wave hopefully the quicker they learn

Hi Jason!

I'm new too and am collecting my 2007 1.8 today as well (Galaxy Grey). I'll be sure to wave to as many people as possible! (but probably just other MX5 drivers... lol)

My brother bought one yesterday on the spur of the moment after a test drive! They seem to be really addictive...

That's great, you must be excited lol ? I have only had mine about a month now and it's just fabulous. Have you gone for the 1.8 or 2.0 and how many miles has yours done ?
