Lookout! An ex-Scooby turned MX5 owner is around :P

Hi All!

I'm expecting a Kendo Roadster to start taking over the spot currently occupied by my Scooby WRX :o

It'll be a different 'thing' but both MX5 test drives were fun! :D

    Glad to hear there's a wave culture with the 5ivers.  Is is there a class basis like the Scoobs? There's is split turbo v none-turbo Angel

    the wave 'culture' is a little hit n miss
    i hang around with WAVErs but there are some that will ignore a whole line of 5s coming the other way

    Re the 'class' thing

    In 5ing it's - the ignorant and the non-ignorant
    As a mk3 owner i have to fly the flag quite vigorously as some perceive 3 owners as the ignorant - this makes them the ignorant
    However, sadly, there are mk3 owners that need educating but i have been ignored by old and young, male and female, tops up and down and all 3 MKs

    Mk1 owners do pride themselves in being able to do the pop-up flash and may carry a degree of smug superiority due to this - of course, in the event of pop-up impotence, this could backfire somewhat Drunk

    Fortunately, mine was ex-demo so i picked up my babe two days after doing the deal

    back to the wave thing, i was out on an OC run last sunday - an oncoming mk1 (hard topped) waved to the mk1 in front of me - the mk1 in front of me missed to wave but this mk3 educated the oncoming mk1er and waved with much gusto which was also taken up by the mk2 and 2.5 behind

    anyway, hope you're united with your Kendo very shortly, Keven

    I've been a Kendo owner for 24hrs Laughing

    It'a already booked to be back to Mazda to have a white bit of body work made to match the sparkling black of the rest of the car Yell

     

    But that's a small stain on an otherwise fun day Drunk
