Mk2 hard top Heated window

Hi all,

 

I'm looking to buy a hardtop with heated rear screen for my 2004 Mk 2.5.

1,  I know that Mk1 roof will fit, but is the HRS connector different to a hard top from a Mk2.5?

Please could someone tell me whether I need to buy some sort of connector loom to plug a hardtop heated rear screen into my Mk2.5?  I see that I have a very neat little plug by my passenger left shoulder which feeds the heated screen in the soft top......

Does the hard top H R S just plug straight in?

    Your quite right...It's simply a matter of 'plug-it-in' ....

    Your also right that the Mk1 & 2 have different connectors!....Zoned out
