A Little Competition - Guess Eric's Summer Holidays Mileage

As some of you may know, Ali breaks up today for her school summer holidays

The weather for the next few weeks is going to be glorious topdown MX5 weather Cool (well we can but hope) and so undoubtedly Ali will take every opportunity to go for a drive in Eric.

I thought it would be fun to have a little competition to guess the total number of miles that Ali and Eric will do in their summer holidays.

Ali can provide us with regular updates on the mileage and there will be a virtual prize for the person who's guess is the closest Thumbs up

No clues from me, other than to say that Eric is not Ali's only car as she also has another (more practical) car

So ladies and gentleman start guessing Grinner

    Disappointed that Eric has not moved all week since Sunday - but, as Admiral says, hopefully quite a bit of mileage will be clocked up this weekend and still another 5 weeks to go Grinner

    In my quest to get Eric's summer holiday mileage up a little I drove 553 miles over the weekend in his company so I guess his mileage would be slightly higher (he seemed to go round some roundabouts more than once Drunk Grinner)

     Yes and the odd un-sheduled de-tour off route, as well as carparks

    and gravel tracks and mentioned roundabouts. I think Eric needs his

    gyroscope resetting as he was having a tendancy of going around

    roundabouts more than once.

    Ah but don't forget Eric did some of his tricks in reverse so that will have lowered his mileage. Saying that I did 633 miles which leads me to think I may need to edit my post and increase my guess. Is this allowed? Just over a weeks holiday and 500+  Eric miles covered, oh dear.

    My weekend mileage came in at 564 miles, garage to garage! I did indeed try driving backwards and sidewards fairly often, so am not sure if that has influenced the final figure?!?!

     So starting mileage was 26679 which means 751 in the first week!!

    I've done another 120 miles today, but took the other car to keep you guessing (that and I could fit more shopping in). Oh have another guess, I don't mind!
