Hi all,
The topic of car care rose the other day at my workplace, when asked how often do I wash my car. I said once a week to once a fortnight.
I also use car detailing liquid wax after each wash and a hard wax once a month. They were horrified to hear I wash it so often, I thought this was the norm to keep the paintwork in good nick. My car isn't garaged, I park it in the car port where it still gets alot of sun and a little rain, so I cover it with a good quality car cover. But still it manages to be totally covered in dirt in less than a week.
So my question to everyone is how often do you wash your 5's and to what detail?
Also, my bonnet has tiny chips from loose road gravel and stones, is the bonnet aluminium or steel? will it rust, should I use touch up paint to cover it up?
