Over on the MSN Inside Track blog motoring journalist Dan Trent has written an interesting series of posts describing his first ever racing experience. Trent was invited to drive a modified version of the Mazda MX-5 GT at Rockingham competing against a field of other Mk3 MX-5s. The car was specially prepared for him by Jota Sport and is slightly heavier than the original GT but has all the modifications for the race track.
Trent has written about the whole experience from preparing for the race to testing sessions and the actual race day event.
